Etang d'Avalon is owned and managed by Ultimate French Carping. Our motivation for entering into the carp fishing holiday business was to provide a venue where our members could feel at home and where they would experience a warm welcome in a relaxed environment. To this end we felt it was of paramount importance to find the ideal location that lended it's self to this particular venture and much time was spent in identifying a suitable property that met those requirements. Eventually we were lucky enough to find the wonderful venue that has become Avalon.

The team at UFC, Iain, Gwen and Les, is totally committed to making your holiday as enjoyable and successful as possible and you will find them to be extremely friendly and helpful. Gwen, who is in charge of the catering facilities, will provide you with meals of a very high standard and whilst she has those meals that have proved to be very popular, she will also identify your likes and dislikes and prepare meals that meet your own preferences. Whilst on the bank Iain will be available to assist in any way possible, and at any time of the day or night. For the less experienced anglers Iain will provide, if requested, tuition including rig clinics, baiting strategies, location of features and many other aspects of carp fishing. Les, the UK agent, who was one of the very first members to fish at Avalon, liked the venue so much he became a member of the team and his experience and knowledge of the venue have proved to be very helpful to new members.
